Craie, the French word for chalk, is a soft, light color that turns any pavement into an endless canvas of possibilities. Introduced in Hermes' 2013 Autumn Winter collection, Craie paved the way for subsequent light shades such as Pear Grey, Parchemin, and Beton, the latter from the 2013 Spring Summer collection. This lovely 25cm Birkin is crafted in Craie Togo leather, a beloved Hermes material known for its texture—neither too hard nor too soft—making it resilient and highly resistant to scratches and dirt, even with daily use.
The bag features palladium hardware, tonal stitching, and a front toggle closure. Inside, you’ll find a chevre leather lining and one zip pocket with an engraved Hermes zipper pull along with an open pocket on the opposite side.
